Hey guys I know it's been a while since I last posted a journal entry (if you can call almost exactly 3 1/2 years "a while") and with all the- Woah, deja vu...
So assuming anyone still checks this account or even remembers me(doubtful as that may be), they would know that I've been pretty much "dead" for the last few years. After getting tired of feeling like a hypocrite every time I got angry at an artist or writer I liked seemingly disappearing off the face of the earth, I thought now would be good a time as any to give a little update.
(Wow I'm reading my last journal entry as I write this and I don't know whether to laugh or cry...)
On the personal side, I'm now 21 years old(22 in a few weeks) and I'm going to be graduating college at the end of this year( I can't believe I haven't written a new journal entry since before my Freshman year! Oh the things I want to tell that naive, aimless younger me...). Along with pretty much everyone I know I'm both excited and terrified to be leaving college and entering the working world soon but I guess we all have to grow up sooner or later.
In terms of my "content" I've still got a bunch of photos from hiking trips over the the past few years so I might post those if I get around to it. The Blood That Binds Us chapter 3 obviously has taken much longer than the month or two than I previously thought it would take to write and while I'm hesitant to declare the story officially dead it's at the very least in a coma with the doctors ready to pull the plug. I still have a word file with that third of a chapter I wrote back in early 2014 bouncing around my laptop somewhere so maybe I'll finish that part up and post it just so I can say I did somewhere down the line. I WILL say however that if I do finally decide to declare it dead I will post whatever I've written and an outline of the rest of the story that I'd planned out on here and on FF.net just so people have official confirmation. To be honest, while I still love Halo I've definitely fallen behind a bit on the story and lore. I played Halo 4 for months and loved it but since I'm still on my old Xbox360 I've completely missed Halo 5 and if I do plan on upgrading to a new console I'm not sure if my love of Halo is enough to warrant picking an Xbox One over a PS4. I'm still writing this on that laptop I talked about in my last journal entry, definitely not as "new" and "awesome" as it was 3 1/2 years ago but it'll do for now(still sucks that I can't play PC games with my friends because I have a Mac though).
I think I've rambled enough for now. Feel free to comment, I'd love to know how things have been for you guys the past 3 1/2 years(assuming any of you are still out there, I know I'm not the only one I remember from back then who's gone radio silent)!
Well that's it for now, hopefully see you guys in less than 3 1/2 years!
